B.C. artists get up to 75% of costs for recording, videos and marketing: $10,000 if emerging, $30,000 if established.

Who can apply
- Artists living in B.C. for at least 200 of the 365 days before the deadline; for bands, half the members
- Experience recording, releasing or performing, with at least two songs public
- Artists apply themselves, or a label applies for an artist on its roster
How to apply
- Fill in the online application on the Creative BC website; one application per artist
- Submit by 4:00 PM PT on the September deadline
- Each band member completes the self-ID form within two weeks
- Staff and an industry panel score it; results come by email 12 to 14 weeks later
